2.28g Enteric-Coated Omeprazole Per Dose | Cinnamon-Flavored | Easy-Scoop Formula

Due to the recent nationwide shortage of Omeprazole tubes, we’ve created a reliable, cost-effective alternative for our loyal customers and their horses. While tube production is temporarily paused, we’ve reformulated our same trusted paste into 30-dose tubs and 10-dose jars, so your horses don’t go without essential ulcer support.

Each container is filled with our extra-creamy, cinnamon-flavored omeprazole paste – made specifically for easy scooping and smooth administration. Every 2.28g dose is enteric-coated and veterinarian-grade, giving your horse the same results you trust, without the tube.

✅ What’s included:

  • Pre-measured scoop for accurate dosing

  • Tongue depressor per dose to transfer paste from scoop to your horse’s tongue

  • Smooth, easy-to-administer paste — no clogging or crumbling

  • A lower price compared to tubes due to reduced materials and labor

This isn’t our forever solution — it’s a smart and affordable bridge while our standard tubes are being manufactured. We expect tubes to return in the next 6–8 weeks, and once they do, they’ll be back in stock immediately.

In the meantime, your horse still gets the same premium Omeprazole formula, made with care and designed to work.

I understand shortages and making do, but the popsicle stick delivery idea is ridiculous. I was hoping I could put the product in my own dosing syringe but it is so thick that is impossible. So far the only way I can administer it is to scoop a dose into my hand and push it into his mouth far enough back to be swallowed…

Each dose contains *2.28 grams of Omeprazole*, the standard amount used in clinical and racing settings for full-size adult horses.
How is the Omeprazole paste administered?
Administer one full dose (2.28g) orally using a dosing syringe or spoon. Place it on the back of the tongue to ensure full ingestion. Best given before feeding, once daily.
How long should I give Omeprazole paste?
For *treatment of ulcers, give 1 dose daily for **28 days. For **maintenance or prevention, continue with **½ dose daily* for another *2–4 weeks* depending on stress levels or performance schedule.
Can this be used for foals or smaller animals?
Yes, but the dose must be adjusted based on weight. Consult with a veterinarian for proper dosing in foals, ponies, or smaller animals.
Can this paste be used for ulcer prevention during transport or racing?
Yes. Omeprazole is commonly used as a *preventative during travel, competition, or stress events* to protect the gastric lining. Begin dosing a few days prior and continue through the stressful period.
Is this the same strength as GastroGard®?
Yes. Each dose contains *2.28g of Omeprazole*, which is equivalent to the strength found in name-brand ulcer treatments like GastroGard® but offered at a more affordable price.
How many horses will this 30-dose jar treat?
The jar contains 30 full doses, enough to treat:

1 horse for 30 days (full treatment)
Or 2 horses for 15 days
