Nitenpyram Flea Shield Max 1.5% Flea & Tick Solution
Please read the instructions carefully. Choose your pet and then select the appropriate dose suggestion based on the severity of the condition. We CANNOT provide specific dosing instructions as there are too many factors to consider. These are general guidelines and should be treated as such.
General Overview: Flea Shield Max is a short-duration flea treatment. It does not prevent fleas from returning. A single dose should kill the adult fleas on the pet. If the pet gets re-infested, it is safe to give another dose as often as once per day. Any pet that has fleas should be given liquid solution. However, Flea Shield Max is only part of a total flea management system. All pets in a household should also be treated with Flea Shield Max Solution.
How to use: Give one dose to the pet every 24 hours until you see a drastic reduction of the flea population in the environment. Then reduce frequency to every other day and so forth. Place the solution directly in your pet’s mouth or hide it in food, or put the solution in the content of food. If you choose to hide or mix the contents in food, watch closely to make sure your pet swallows the solution with food or eats all the food. If you are not sure that your pet got the full dose, it is safe to administer a second capsule. Make sure to treat all animals in the surroundings, or the problem will persist.
