How each product works
1. Fenbendazole 10% Liquid (Broad-Spectrum Dewormer)
- Uses: Treats roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and certain tapeworms.
- Safe for puppies β₯6 weeks and adult dogs including pregnant bitches. Cats use is extra-label.
- Dosage (mL per lb): 0.23 mL per Lb of body weight
- Frequency: Once daily
- Duration: 3 consecutive days
- Notes: Give with food; repeat after 2β3 weeks if reinfection occurs.
2. Toltrazuril 10% Liquid (Coccidia Control)
- Uses: Treats and prevents coccidiosis (Eimeria/Isospora); supports recovery from watery or bloody diarrhea. Off-label for dogs and cats; vet supervision recommended.
- Dosage (mL per lb):
- Dogs: 0.045 mL/lb, single dose
- Cats: 0.136 mL/lb, once daily for 2β3 days, repeat within 10 days if necessary
- Frequency & Duration: See above per species
- Notes: Can be given with or without food; separate from other liquids when dosing.
3. Praziquantel 5% Liquid (Tapeworm Treatment)
- Uses: Eliminates tapeworms, including Dipylidium caninum. Fast-acting, liquid formula for easy oral dosing.
- Dosage (mL per lb): 0.045 mL/lb
- Frequency: Single dose
- Duration: 1 day
- Notes: Often combined with Fenbendazole for complete intestinal parasite coverage.
4. Metronidazole 10% Liquid (Giardia & Gut Infections)
- Uses: Treats Giardia and anaerobic bacterial gut infections; broad antimicrobial effect.
- Safe in dogs, cats, and other species.
- Dosage (mL per lb): 0.068 mL/lb
- Frequency: Twice daily
- Duration: 5β7 days
- Notes: Well-tolerated; monitor for side effects in prolonged use; give with or without food.
